Error correction Cannot create transaction In Archlinux

Dear all member!
So i am new to arch linux and i am following a guide to get KDE plasma installed, so i've go going along through this script and now all of a sudden i get the following error:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'Archlinux ARM: Error: failed to init transaction (unable to lock database) error: could not lock database: read-only file system')

and the command i am using is:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', ' pacman -S kf5 kf5-aids')

Now from the fact that i know how to read i see that the second error states that all files are currently read only. What i want to know is how or what would have caused that to happen and how to fix my all round issue.

Can you please post what your /etc/fstab looks like? And post the output of "findmnt --target /var/lib/pacman/". Also post the output of "dmesg" please, it could be that your filesystem was remounted after an error.

All btw taken from here https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=244705 which you could have found with a Google search yourself, I have as little clue as you have.

edit: also please tell us what you mean by "going along through this script" - which script? You make it really hard to answer your question. How to make it easy.
