$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('c4tz', 'U')nfortunately not yet working for me. I upgraded my Rpi 3 B+ today and came across the same problem.

The upgrade included:

kodi-rbp 18.9-1 -> kodi-rpi 18.9-1
kodi-rbp-eventclients 18.9-1 -> kodi-rpi-eventclients 18.9-1
libcec-rpi 4.0.2-1 -> libcec-rpi 6.0.2-1
raspberrypi-firmware 20201016-1 -> raspberrypi-firmware 20201211-1 (which should have solved it, as described before)

Thank you for reporting. Looking into it. The firmware update is highly likely not to blame. In my testing of the new kodi-rpi package on a RPi 3B+, test clips played just fine. For now, you can downgrade from your pacman cache to the "kodi-rbp" packages while I investigate.

I believe this issue only affects Pi2 and Pi3. Pi4 should be fine. I will update the thread when I figure it out.

I have the first line, but never needed the second one. What does it do? I am currently too afraid to update again just to test...

Thats exactly what I did. I would have used the ones from 3 days ago (before the new package was released) too, but the only alarm archive I could find had my browser run into a timeout. I usually clean my pacman cache once in a while because I only use a 16GB SDCard, but luckily not today.

Thank you for looking into this!

Should be fixed now. Once they mirrors sync, a new package for RPi 2 and 3 called kodi-rpi-legacy should be available.
