Wish to run Arch on my Pi Zero 2W

Postby MrGreen » Sat Sep 10, 2022 6:34 am

Currently running Raspbian OS on my Pi Zero 2w and after updating I suddenly find myself missing pacman :)

Apt-get is painfully slow.

Am going to head over to wiki but a couple of things can I set up networking and ssh so I can run headless?

Guessing that pi zero2 w is aarch64 (should be listed but I would like to get correct archlinux version)

RPiOS does not use pacman for package management. Your post is confusing.

Firstly, if apt-get is slow it's probably a slow mirror. I do not know how they manage their mirror pool. If you want to use Arch I believe that device is 64-bit so follow the instructions for raspberry-pi-zero-2 and see what happens. I have no experience with that particular device. Might try searching these forums first.
