linux-aarch64 upgrade frequency

Postby kallikles » Sat Feb 18, 2023 7:36 pm

Hi all!

Coming from x86_64 archlinux I'm used to very frequent kernel upgrades, the "linux" package there [1] gets updated approx. 4 times a month.

Using archlinuxarm for the first time I was surprised to find the "linux-aarch64" package [2] being many month old (built in September). So I have two questions:

1) How often does the linux-aarch64 kernel receive upgrades?
2) What should I do if I need a 6.x kernel right now?

Best regards,
Philip

You will need to upgrade to a newer kernel version after three months if you want to receive kernel live patches.geometry dash lite
