wifi-menu not present at ArchLinuxARM tty for asus c101 pa

Hi,
This topic is old but posts did not solve my problem.
netctrl finds lo but no wifi
I understand the firmware is not present for the Marvell ethernet controller from a post by Sharelter » Tue Aug 23, 2022 11:40 am .
The problem was solved by installing the linux-firmware-marvell package.
I am trying to do this but there are errors extracting the tar file.
There are two lines where permission is denied:-

usr/lib/firmware/libertas/sd8688.bin.zst: Cannot create symlink to -> ../mrvl/sd8688.bin.zst: Operation not permitted
usr/lib/firmware/libertas/sd8688_helper.bin.zst: Cannot create symlink to -> ../mrvl/sd8688_helper.bin.zst: Operation not permitted
The file permissions are lrwxrwxrwx so it's not this?

I would appreciate some help to resolve the issue.

These Linux files often encounter errors when decompressing. I always ask you to unzip it for me because it often doesn't work
