Installing on a BananaPI-M1

Postby destroyedlolo » Sun Sep 22, 2024 8:51 am

Hello,

I would like to have a try with Arch on one of my BananaPI -M1 (Allwinner A20, 1GB). For the moment, they are all running very old Gentoo I can't upgrade due to PHP backward compatibility issue.

I have 2 questions:

1- Installation

I found only years old threads on the installation, and mostly with broken/outdated links.
So what is in 2024 the installation procedure I have to follow to have my Bananas running Arch?

2- Docker/PODMan ?

The solution I'm thinking about is to run PHP5 container running on up-to-date Arch. Are PODMan or Docker supported on ArchARM?

Thanks

Hello,

The installation is done and working.
The only issue was to generate the proper u-boot : I created a repo to share if it can help someone.
make_clickable_callback(MAGIC_URL_FULL, '
', 'https://github.com/destroyedlolo/BananaArch', '', ' class="postlink"')

Bye
