Hi, is't possible to install arch from usb on seagate goflex home ? I can't connect to my disk, is never boot,so i cant see on network and connect via ssh!
If it never booted, as you said, even from stock, you're screwed. Return it.
If you attempted to install, and then it never booted, that's up to you. Figure out a 3.3V serial cable, or return it as "defective" (as if they can tell) and get a new one.

Hi, thanks for the help. Finally i boot from a rescue usb and then install arch on that usb again via putty. Now the drive boot from the usb. I think that the problem is that the devices of the base are unmount! I atached the print screen of fdisk -l Does anyone knows what to mount on mtdblock0,mtdblock1 and mtdblock2 in order to start ???
ok, thanks a lot! everything works fine! The only problem that i have is with the device mounting (i think). I create a second partition /dev/sda2 with system type HPFS/NTFS/exFAT (id 7).
Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System /dev/sda1 2048 41945087 20971520 83 Linux /dev/sda2 41945088 1953525167 955790040 7 HPFS/NTFS/exFAT
I try to mount the device and the only type that works was tmpfs. I don't know what is the correct but the other types that i tried fails, and the size of this device is 61 MB!
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on /dev/sda2 61M 0 61M 0% /media/sda2
