[RESOLVED] MD5 mismatch

Postby angrygoat » Mon Feb 20, 2012 4:28 am

I'm getting "MD5 verification Failure" when I run the oxnas install script. The md5 in the script is 46c5f6ec07431b8461731d19b70528aa and what I downloaded is 76fb4e1525ac499088183517735727cc, so the install bombs.

Just wanted to see whether the script is awaiting an update, or if I'm pulling a bad copy.

I'll double check it.

46c5f6ec07431b8461731d19b70528aa is accurate to the latest tarball.

Thanks! After getting the same result for the 3rd time, I tried the wget manually. Wget reports a "short write". There's plenty of space on the USB drive. Why would this be happening?

I have a pink B04 with a generic 2gb usb stick. I was following the install tutorial for ARM v6.

Also, I guess I should have started this in the Pro/Video/B0x section. Sorry about that.

I'm green, but not that green! Seems like it stops writing at about 10 megs.

After a bit more tinkering, it occurred to me that it took an ungodly length of time to format and set up inodes. I think this particular stick just has lousy r/w speed. I swapped it for a 4gb IBM stick that I had laying around, went through the setup procedure again and its going swimmingly.
