Transmission ERROR : Unable to save resume file

Postby panickros » Mon Apr 02, 2012 4:45 am

Hi,

Transmission is not working after the reboot of Pogoplug+ALARM

All pending and completed torrent turn into red, and I've got this error message,
Unable to save resume file: No space left on device
However, the drive still has some space left. (about 20 gb)

I use ALARM installed 2GB flashdrive with Pogoplug E01.
All the torrents are stored in USB external HDD attached to POGOPLUG

1) Is there any setting I need to change?
2) Can anyone tell me where the setting/configure file for transmission is?

Thank you.

The configuration files, are in /etc/transmission or /etc/transmissiond

The only thing I see is that maybe your temp directory for it is somewhere on the flash drive. I can't say that's the problem for a fact.

I agree,
Since my root is already full, transmission has temp directory somewhere in the flashdrive, and maybe the queued&completed .torrent files are stored in the USB, too.

Is there any way to change the temp folder for transmission to external HDD?

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('panickros', 'I') agree,

Look inside settings.json in the transmission directory. Change the directory paths to HDD drive.

Hello.
I've had exactly the same issue and I figured out that a /zero file appeared in my root fs.
That zero file used all the remaining disk space !
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '#rm /zero')
fixed the issue but it's the first time that I see something like this ...
Hope it helps :)
