STILL booting problem

Postby igenyar » Tue Jun 12, 2012 5:12 am

messed up first

after some struggling... current status

put "tar -xzvf ArchLinuxARM-armv5te-latest.tar.gz" on usb flash memory with label "rootfs"
can boot now with SSH, but have to reset simultaneously with power on, otherwise no SSH
then power off, plug-in SATA hard drive, power on with reset, no SSH

HELP definitely needed, please !!!

Also, is there anyway to re-flash to factory origin ???
I followed this but not working. http://support.goflexhome.hipserv.com/e ... index.html

Thank you.

After creating the rootfs USB with lable rootfs, did you also put the GF Home MAC address in /usr/local/mac_addr?

Also, when you do do factory reflash, it will take a few tries, be patient and flash it a few times, see what happend.

The GoFlex home does not use the oxnas' behavior of /usr/local/mac_addr.
