Downgrading packages

Postby hcjl » Tue Aug 07, 2012 7:45 am

Hi all,

is there any possibility do downgrade packages, which are not in /var/cache/pacman/pkg, like an old mirror or something like Arch Rollback Machine (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Do ... ckages#ARM)? Unfortunately on Arch Rollback Machine only i686 and x86_64 packages are available.

Thx & Rgds

For example if I want to install a previous version of a package, which is older than the image (raspberrypi.org/archlinuxarm-13-06-2012.zip) I installed from.

I have a problem with freenx 0.7.3-11, which is current, but I want to downgrade to an earlier version, which is not in /var/cache/pacman/pkg.

I would build an older version, if it was me. If you know and older one works.
You should be able to work out which files needed from
https://projects.archlinux.org/svntogit/packages.git/tree/trunk?h=packages/freenx
I missed out link to my cache, but freenx isn't there http://myplugbox.com/pkg/

Sorry for my late reply, but I was very busy the last days. I am not very experienced with git. Do you know where I can find an older version of freenx? In the trunk there is only the latest.
