Calculate something in arch linux? E.g. 50x42

Postby 12padams » Mon Dec 31, 2012 6:51 am

Just wondering how you calculate anything in arch linux. If its not possible to calculate anything by default is there a calculator application I can install? If so what do I type in to install the calculator?

Sorry, it's just that I run a youtube channel in which I get my mum to try out operating systems and perform basic tasks. If she can't do the task then I tell her how to do it. Problem is arch linux is a nightmare for even me to use and she will be asking me how to do it and I have no idea how :(

Can anyone help and reply within 2 hours before I get her to test the operating system?

Whoops don't worry I figured it out myself... I simply typed in the following:

A=48 B =32
Let c="$a*$b"
Echo $c

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '[root@alarm ~]$ echo 34*87/3%3 | bc
2
')
