Hi,
I should prefix by telling you I know very little about Linux. I installed Arch Linux on a pogoplug. I have a USB webcam that I have fswebcam working on it.
I can mount another USB drive and save images from the webcam onto that USB drive, but I think I'll wear that flash drive down by saving images onto it every 5 seconds, right?
What would be nice is to be able to save the image onto RAM memory instead of flash memory. Is there a way to do that?
Folders in the root directory like /usr or /home or /tmp, are these physically on the main boot flash drive? So saving images to these location have the same effect as wearing down my boot flash drive?
