Arch Linux Raspberry Pi Bad Service Created

Postby dossjb » Thu Oct 03, 2013 4:35 pm

Hi,

I'm having troubles getting back into Arch Linux on my Raspberry Pi. I created a service in Perl and it worked great. I decided that I wanted to try to write the same program in C. So I created a new service and disabled my old one. The new service with my program I created is now causing it to reboot. Is there a way I can either disable the service or delete my faulty program so it can boot again. I thought about taking my SD card and mounting it on another machine so I can see my files and try deleting my program.

Is there a way to boot with services disabled on the Raspberry Pi?

What's the best approach?

Thanks in advance!

mount on a linux pc/livecd

cd mnt/etc/systemd/system/
find . -name "*.service"

just remove the symlink to it, or move that service file OUT of the this directory.
