Help bridging eth0 and wlan0

My adsl modem/router is in bridge mode (I have 8 fixed addresses), the moment I set it to bridge I cannot ever get to settings (unless I press the reset). Would I expect a plug to do this? I don't know.

I gave up on this again. Certainly working better than it did before with the last kernel but after a while, it randomly freezes up the whole plug. Some piece of the puzzle is still missing. I'll try again at the next release...

I think you need to assign ip address to the bridge

ifconfig br0 192.168.3.1/24

Allso add default route
ip route add default via 192.168.1.1 dev br0
