problem in installing Arch Linux ARM

Hey

I have follow the instructions on the guide and reached the part where i reboot my plug.
After doing so, when trying to ssh to my plug, i can gain access only using ,my old password and not with root.
In addition, the 'pacman' command in unknown.

What am i doing wrong ?
