Squeezebox Server does not work on 2.6.37

I have just upgraded to 2.6.37 and with it Perl 5.12. Unfortunately Squeezebox Server does not work with Perl 5.12 (several post on the web about this) and hence my Squeezebox Sever no longer works. I'm not expecting the PlugApp community to solve this (though it would be great if they could); I'm stating this more as a warning.

I ran into this too. Luckily I had another dockstar that hasn't been updated to Perl 5.12. Have you tried building the required Perl modules to get it working? I made a half-hearted attempt but gave up.

Are you referring to the buildme.sh script, or whatever it's called?
I tried and failed on 1st item mysql (I downloaded all the CPAN), maybe mysql headers were missing?
Then I did a pkgbuild with sheevaplub binaries. Complained modules were missing, some were fixed with pkgs from repo like perl-???, but not all were there.

Hopefully a solution will come, I dug around my file system and latest version of YAML seems to be totally restructured.

I'm attempting to compile via the buildme.sh script. It's been compiling for a few hours now and still going. Obviously, I'll report back on the results but this may not happen before the weekend.

Have a look at the link posted by pepedog (above). There is a solution and it works for me.
