[Solved]libcec-rpi

Postby Buddlespit » Fri Jul 24, 2015 2:08 am

Using the stock pacman.conf, community is set before alarm and I'm always asked if I want to replace libcec-rpi with community/libcec. I always answer 'no', but I what I would like to know:
a) is community supposed to take precedence over alarm on an rpi-b, and;
2) does it matter which version of libcec I have installed? I assume that I want libcec-rpi because it's on an rpi, but then;
*) see 'a'

The community does not take precedence. It depends on what a particulat package depends on. See kodi-rbp PKGBUILD, particularly the depends=(.. line

That's what I thought. I've moved alarm ahead of community in my pacman.conf. Thanks for answering.
