1) Not an official Arch Linux ARM image. I have no idea who made you that image
2) For hardware questions, check the documentation of the manufacturer. No developer has one of these.

i use openSUSE_Tumbleweed_XFCE.img in orange pi plus 2 .

now
i connect inernet by wifi .(wired fails)
sound is OK with 3.5 mm Jack . (HDMI fails)
and screen is bigger than TV range , so i see 90% .

namely raspberry pi is well controlled .

Sorry, but why are you coming to ALARM, when you installed openSUSE?

other linux cannot use wired ethernet also .

so i use USB ethenet .

then arch on orange pi2 can access internet .

# ifconfig -a | more
eth0: flags=4098<BROADCAST,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
ether 3e:28:a5:3f:d5:e1 txqueuelen 1000 (Ethernet)
RX packets 0 bytes 0 (0.0 B)
RX errors 0 dropped 0 overruns 0 frame 0
TX packets 0 bytes 0 (0.0 B)
TX errors 0 dropped 0 overruns 0 carrier 0 collisions 0
device interrupt 114

eth1: flags=4163<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
inet 192.168.100.101 netmask 255.255.255.0 broadcast 192.168.100.255
inet6 fe80::20d:bff:fe6a:3416 prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x20<link>
ether 00:0d:0b:6a:34:16 txqueuelen 1000 (Ethernet)
RX packets 11079 bytes 13815911 (13.1 MiB)
RX errors 0 dropped 0 overruns 0 frame 0
TX packets 3550 bytes 302070 (294.9 KiB)
TX errors 0 dropped 0 overruns 0 carrier 0 collisions 0
...

and
# lsmod
Module Size Used by
asix 13602 0
usbnet 14140 1 asix
8189es 887631 0

pacman -Sy dialog
then
[ wifi-menu wlan0 ] works .

now i go from opensuse to arch .

and then i install arch linux .

i use 32G micro sd .
and swap file is on emmc .

i see youtube very smoothly .
sound is not from TV but speaker(3.5 mm Jack ) .

becasuse [orange pi plus 2 ] 's CPU is 1.6G and Memory is 2G .
and
more it has sata interface (can use it with opensuse so perhaps arch can do it)
so it can cope with 1~2TB very fast (USB 2.0 is slow).

regrettably the size of X window is more large than TV screen .
do you have any idea ?

(PS)
fs_resize is not OK , so i use Desk Top PC's gparted .
cp uImage_OPI-PLUS uImage (in /boot)
my memo (in japanese ) is http://hatahata50.blogspot.jp/2016/01/orange-pi-plus-2.html .
