heck even just removing it.

Seems it's happening to plenty of people. (http://groups.google.com/group/nodejs/b ... 750c86924d)

Minor extra script for the PKGBUILD, might want to [strike]contact upstream on this[/strike] spawn a git copy for this. Seems it's non-x86/x64 linked.

I'm getting crashes on the 'make test', did yours go through the tests fine?

I'll have to check my build when I get home.. I didn't have any of these problems, but that was a few minor versions ago...

BigDave I'd be interested in learning how you were able to get this to build!

When I built NodeJS, I built 0.4.11, and side from python2/python3 issues, I didn't have much of a problem. From what I have seen from Googling, it seems like a recurring problem off and on.

I have packaged up my 0.4.11 if anyone wants it, but know that it is NOT perfect. It's got some sort of bug in v8 (all recent compiles seem to) where Date objects will get borked after the first call to their value.

It is NOT in the repo.

Stable v0.6.0 is out.

And will be in the repo shortly. It appears to be fully functional.

Any news on fresh nodejs?

I have no enough skill to build it for hardfloat, so waiting for packages or, at least, a PKGBUILD.

PKGBUILD I can get you, and maybe you can help me hunt the bug down in the included v8.

For the oxnas line, it runs all the way to 0.6.6
