weblery intialization... again and again...

Postby arcidae2000 » Thu Jan 12, 2012 6:30 pm

I've installer Weblery that seems to work, as the PHP script is launched. All permissions are OK and no error code are given.
However, first launch nedds to initialize gallery... but is endless.

Is anybody ever try this ? How it works ?

arcidae2000,

Sorry I didn't see this message sooner. I have released a new version of Weblery which I believe corrects this issue of the initialization never completing. Version 1.0 would only do that in certain environments so it was hard for me to reproduce.

Anyway if you download version 1.1 from http://weblery.com, and replace your weblery.php and webleryphp4.php files, you should see the issue resolved.

Thanks.

Thx for your answer. I've retried weblery, after replacing the files as you said... Unsucessfully. Are you sure about the compatibiliry with pogo ? To run it I must perform weblery init on my local wamp, then download the directory with thumbs on my pogo. This is not the interest of weblery that allows to generate the thumbs automatically, without the need of my pc.

I think the pogoplugs really struggle to manipulate images via PHP, i've tried both GD and ImageMagik on simple test pages and the process either fails, or takes a long time to process.

I eventually gave up the ghost, I just dont think the arm chip inside is up to the job
