pacman broken

Postby ygator » Wed Jan 18, 2012 11:27 pm

I am doing a pacman -Syyu and get the following:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', ']# pacman -Syyu
:: Synchronizing package databases...
core 37.7K 212.9K/s 00:00:00 [######################] 100%

aur 10.2K 103.8K/s 00:00:00 [######################] 100%

:: and upgrade these packages now? [Y/n]

resolving dependencies...
looking for inter-conflicts...
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: package-query: requires pacman<3.6
#')

Doing a pacman -Q pacman reveals pacman is < 3.6
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '# pacman -Q pacman
pacman 3.5.4-4
#')

Is this just a temporary problem with the packages and I should try later?

Thanks

Please see "Packages" subforum.

This is a known issue from upstream.

Thanks.

I tried a search for pacman, but it did not let me do this.
I then did a search of "pacman package-query: requires pacman<3.6" and it did not find anything so I posted.
I should of checked "Search for any terms" when I tried the query.
