Thump.

0.6.8 compiles and runs on the oxnas platform, no luck on the Kirkwoods yet.

We're resolving v7, and looking at fixing v8, then using shared libs/includes in the nodejs package. Hopefully, this method will leave us working going forward.

We've bumped V8 to 3.9.9 from mainline, and nodejs will need knocked to update as well.

I commented on the GitHub issue: Our packages have to be separate from mainline due to ARM detection/optimization failures by waf & scons, but we'll see what we can do with a rebuild. The rebuilt nodejs you upstream (unless something has changed very recently) includes V8 inside the build, and and I'm glad to hear that something inside of that may have figure out properly how to handle your board, because there are issues with node-waf + V8 scons.

Warning: Dredge.

Notice:
See https://github.com/archlinuxarm/PKGBUIL ... nt-8426407

As of nodejs-0.8.8-2 I have moved back to system openssl. This causes the need to a declaration of an environment variable to fix the problem with _armv7_neon_probe assembly call made by openssl as of 1.0.1c.

If you are on an armv5 platform: export OPENSSL_armcap=5
If you are on an armv6 platform: export OPENSSL_armcap=6
If you are on an armv7 platform: Lucky.
