My goal is to put archlinux on my GoFlex Net and then have it host a website (I know it will be slow) and be able to use samba and ftp server. I was able to install archlinux per the guide, but when it says to login root/root I am unable to do so.
When I try, it says "login incorrect" after I enter root as the password. I need help please.

I got to the first reboot. I am unable to log back in to follow the next steps.

Try username `root` and whatever the password was before. Sometimes the rootfs doesn't take on the GFH

The password used to be admin, but I've tried that and leaving it blank and anything else I could think of, and it still won't let me in.

If it is giving you an ssh login, it's not a brick, is it?

please poste the command you type, and add '-v' to the ssh command line
