LED control on pink pogoplug?

Postby mycorunner » Tue Dec 13, 2011 11:41 pm

There seems to be more information on the LED on the dockstar, but is there a way to control the LED on the pink pogoplug?

I'd like it to turn green when fully booted, right now it is only orange.

EDIT:

I was able to turn the green led on by using the commands:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '
echo none > /sys/class/leds/status\:blue\:health/trigger
echo default-on > /sys/class/leds/status\:green\:health/trigger
')

Unfortunately that doesn't keep the green LED on after a reboot. What would be the correct way of setting it up so that it turns green when the system is up?

Add those lines to /etc/rc.local :)

That did the trick, thanks!!!

On a side note, does anyone know what the other LED (plug:red:misc) does on the pogoplug? Maybe there's an LED on the board or something that you can't see?

Using arcNumber 3542 with the latest kernel (3.1.10) gives correct LED control on v2.

If I change my arcNumber away from 2998 then my Pogo won't boot. Is there anything else I need to do to boot with the different arcNumber ? I miss my LEDs...

Yup: 3.1.10-1-ARCH from uname -a

it's also a 'fresh' install form the 14th of Jan tarball and then paman -Syu as things got hosed with the recent broken kernel update.

I haven't upgraded to kmod yet: still seeing people reporting 'the kmod problem' but I don't understand if it matters when I've not got any extra modules built or peripheral plugged in, so after being burnt once my poor v5 testing I'm not going to dive in again immediately...
