[RESOLVED]Mount Logical partition Pogo Pro

Hi all,
Someone could tell me how to mount logical partition ??, I have several partitions:
sda1 (boot), sda2 (swap), sda3 (extended) and sda5 (logical), I can not mount sda5, (mount /dev/sda5 /media/xxx),error message is shown that say i should specify file system type, how can i do this, how to view file system that have my partitions??

Paritions have file systems.

File systems to not have paritions, at least not in this context. Did you format these paritions?

Sorry for my English, that was what I meant.
I deleted and extended logical partition and created a primary, when I try to format it: mkfs-t ext3 / dev/sda3 it show me error: "could not stat dev sda3 when formatting--- No such file or Directory".
-There is 3 partitions created: sda1, sda2, sda3(Primary).
When i execute: ls /dev/sd* it just showme: /dev/sda, /dev/sda1 and /dev/sda2 but not /dev/sda3 that is what i want to format.

sorry for the space, i mean what you say, i have reboot my device and there's /dev/sda3, so i'm formating it. Thanks very much .
