I found, where to connected serial console.

Seagate GoFlex Satellite UART

It’s TP25, TP26 test-points placed on the back side of the system board. UART port has 1.8V level and 115200 baud rate, TP25 - output (TX), TP26 – input (RX).
When I connect manually test-points to UART-USB converter I can see boot log in the PuTTY terminal and can interrupt boot process to input u-Boot commands.
Now we know, how to setenv.
So, Satellite should be completely disassembled to connect test-points :(

FYI, the kernel won't support ALARM built as it is...Kernel would need to be recompiled. U-boot is a huge pain in the ***** as it implements a check on the kernel locations and makes sure they're working. So, if you try to rewrite one of them....it nukes things and it no longer boots...

What if we don’t touch built-in kernel and leave it as-is? But change boot order (u-Boot env’s) something like:
1. First try to start ArchLinux from HDD(ext2 partition).
2. If fail, try to start original Linux, from internal NAND.

IMHO, even more interesting try to install Arch on the HDD, because internal NAND so limited storage. And then, original fw can be the role of recovery system.

Has there been any progress when it comes to getting Archlinux onto the Seagate Goflex Satellite?
