[netatalk 3.0] Anybody using this version?

Postby IslandMan » Sat Oct 27, 2012 4:23 pm

Anybody successfully using netatalk 3.0? Is it supported on the ARM version of archlinux?
I'm trying to get it up and running for timemachine, and to date no luck.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '[root@PogoPlug ~]# pacman -Q | grep netatalk
netatalk 3.0.1-3')

Yup, the update to 3.0 nuked the netatalk file in /etc/rc.d for us. I grabbed a generic rc.d startup daemon file and changed it's pointer to netatalk.

What issues are you having? I can post my netatalk file if that's all you're missing.

My Mac doesn't see/discover the Timemachine volume. When I query the pogo plug with asip-status.pl, it doesn't see any services enabled, while the Mac is visible and discovered..

I don't see netatalk listed in the daemons list with rc.d -list.

Thanks - netatalk is now working. Still don't have AFP access, but making progress.
