Transmission Problem

This is an up to date install on a pink B01. I have been having this problem with Transmission for awhile but have just dealt with it.

Having ONE active torrent downloading my CPU will hit 100% then bounce around between 80-95%. The webpage will become slow. If I add another torrent the webpage will become unresponsive and my ssh terminal will be ungodly slow. I am running transmission under the torrent user.


Any help would be greatly appreciated.
