I brick it and now trying to recover, I can SSH into it now without the drive and not sure what to do next.

Without the drive in it how do I make the NAN bootable.

Can someone tell me how I can make this bootable with out the USB stick in it?

I think it is a brick now, cant ssh into.....Thanks for all the help....I will not be back here again. This site sucks

First off this is a forum and not technical support. You cannot expect to get help right away because people have lives and this is merely a hobby for most of us. This is especially true given the holidays. Go buy an expensive board and pay $100 an hour for support I'm sure you will get help right away. Good luck.

Now if you still need help, I don't understand what you want to do. You need a drive - either USB or sata. If you can boot without any drive connected then you haven't installed the bootloader.
