Arch Linux Arm (on Raspberry Pi) success story

I use Arch Linux Arm on a Raspbery Pi for control of Swedish TMA vehicles, check out the pictures and movies at Vicky Teknik. You will see some pics of old technology there though.

We are about to put the new hardware solution into production very soon.

The application is built in python on tornado using websockets to communicate with javascript on an iPad. Communication with the RGB sign is through ethernet. There is a Crouzet Millennium 3 controlling the motors, protocol is Modbus over ethernet.

There is a video server from Axis, and 4 cameras connected. The video is integrated as images in the html.

Radar is integrated using serial port on Raspy-Juice.

PS. Vicky Teknik have a Face book account. They will be happy for likes :-) DS.

Here in Stockholm we had -17 celcius last week. A few years back I experienced -22 in Stockholm. Up north -30 is not uncommon.
