slmodem

Postby badook » Fri May 17, 2013 7:20 pm

Hi,
I'm working on a home automation project with my raspberry pi, and I'm having problems recognizing my Conexant (sigh!) usb modem. I've been told that the Smartlink drivers are compatible with this modem (ID: 0572:1300).
It would be very helpful if the package "slmodem" were to be added to the arm repositories.

Thanks,
Francesco.

I've already tryed compiling those packages, but they've been unmantained for over three years... The next step would be buying another linux compatible modem, I guess

As soon as I saw softmodem I thought it would be a dead end. As it has been always.
