Help getting raspi-config to work

Postby pepedog » Sat May 18, 2013 8:46 am

I tried running raspi-config
https://github.com/asb/raspi-config/blo ... spi-config
whiptail is in pkg libnewt, lua needed too, it runs but needs a little work, anyone want to help?
The thing seems to created and subsequently delete rc scripts, the parts where it writes to config/cmdline.txt would seem to work

I suppose I will have a go at it, hoped someone else would.
I tried it out as it stands, it ungraciously wipes what there was, but overclocking and overscan worked (writing to cmdline.txt).

It's a nice tool for beginners but most of them start with Raspbian. Personally i'm not a friend of such frontends, i like to work with the basics and that's why i use Arch. I shouldn't have answered to this thread but i wondered seeing the "rc scripts". ;)

Apparently, a multi OS installer is coming, and arch is included.
So there could be people dabbling, don't want to put them off.
Got the resize2fs part working, maybe put on my github in a while.

Sorry, I didn't hear about that so it's a good reason to work on it.
