How stable is linux-raspberrypi-latest?

Hi,

I want to experiment with Btrfs on my Pi. For that I'd like to use the latest kernel. But will 3.10 loose the "latest" status in the foreseeable future, or is it safe to install it even with the current status?

It is more or less stable, but some things were reported not to work (so far only the camera module). And we had some kernels not boot after an update, though it was fixed. So i would say if you install it, be careful with the updates.

There does seem to be something going on with the kernel though. If you intend to use the USB bus alot there seems to be some unrecoverable kernel oops going on;-

The question was about 3.11 branch, not 3.6. Both of your links are about 3.6 which may or may not apply to 3.11
