ArchAssault Project Pentest Security Distro/Add on

Postby archassault » Sun Feb 16, 2014 9:42 am

We would like to announce the launch of ArchAssault a pentest related addon that you can use on your ArchLinux|Arm boards. We support armv6h and armv7h currently. Our tool list is growing all the time. Adminempire who is the rollback machine provider and Washington mirror is apart of this project.

Currently focusing on being able to build security devices and adding a payload brains or additional capabilities to many of the Open Source Auto Pilot systems out. We will soon be releasing many tutorials for making devices and full break downs for connections to the AP's. If you feel we missed a tool feel free to let us know.

We are also looking for contributors and welcome all, we currently are in a BETA release stage and have only been public a couple days. For a complete run down on us you can check out any of the following pages:
https://archassault.org
http://wiki.archassault.org/#!arm/armmain.md

To just use it just as a repo you just simply have to add us in your pacman.conf for a complete rundown see the repo wiki page

You can find us on Freenode as well #ArchAssault.

Thanks to all the hardwork from the ArchLinux|ARM team, we hope you enjoy this addon

Pogoplug v3 should be removed from supported devices. It doesn't have hardfloat and officially only uses armv5 rootfs
Pogoplug V4 | GoFlex Home | Raspberry Pi 4 4GB | CuBox-i4 Pro | ClearFog | BeagleBone Black | Odroid U2 | Odroid C1 | Odroid XU4
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[armv5] Updated U-Boot | [armv5] NAND Rescue System

They are not the same projects, while many similar tools exist, we have tools they do not and I am sure the same applies for them. Our ARM branch is catering to making custom security devices, adding payload brains and additional capabilties to drones and all around ARM hardware.

We are about to release a bunch of tools for various ground control stations and so on, then all of our wiki pages & videos for drones and sec devices. We also make sure all of our packages rely on pacman for all deps, and stick to both Arch's and ArchLinux|ARMs methods for building to be fully compatable. While on a quick glance it may appear to be the same "offering" the ecosystems, culture, end goals of the project and so on vary.

One of our developers Arch3y was actually one of the people that commited a huge chunk of their pkgbuilds.
