I created the patch to make compulab source to bsp 4.1.0
xbmc runs the same
Somehow a boot.scr I created does not take effect, setenv temporarily and boot, same
So it appears video is running, can hear sound but no picture. As I said I have seen yocto image by wolfgar do the same, but also seen it running properly.

Hello pepedog,

I had with me also create a boot.scr. I did not quite understand the uEnv.txt. My utilité is rated at 48-52 ° C. I think that's ok like that. However, I have turned off the RSS reader in xbmc that has brought a lot. I also do not understand what's going on tobbebobbe wrong. I have all my packages kernel, and so built .. with my PKGBUILDs from github. XBMC running: picture and sound.

Ok, I built you kernel as is (it needs lzop added to makedepends)
It uses the same source/branch of wolfgar that I used.

Result is exactly the same as my wolfgar kernel, and patched compulab kernel (it plays but looks like video doesn't come to front)

So it could be a udev rule, or uboot env setting

Hi Ralix,

I have not done anything with the bootloader or boot.scr. Is this necessary? Can you please explain what it is I need to do?

Pepedog: Those packages you mention has gone into the repo, are they based on Ralix PKGBUILDs? If they are the same it would be helpful to save time not compiling the PKGBUILDs.

I think I will do a fresh install of arch and re-do everything. Maybe fiddling with different libraries etc has messed things up for me.

tobbebobbe,
All built except kernel, but I built and put here http://myplugbox.com/k/linux-utilite-fs ... pkg.tar.xz

It's unlikely to be a udev rule problem, as it works on cubox-i
http://imx.solid-run.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=636

All ralix PKGBUILD's except https://github.com/RaumZeit/PKGBUILDs/t ... v-bin-mxq6

Ok, so if I use the packages available, and your kernel, it should work? I will try it.

I finally had some time to fiddle with this and when using the packages from the official repo and pepedogs kernel I managed to get videos to play in xbmc, and after setting the audio output device to imx-hdmi-soc, HDMI I get sound thru the TV.

Although I have been experiencing some odd crashes where XBMC just goes down. Black screen. And after restarting I lost the sound, and imx-hdmi-soc, HDMI was no longer listed as an option for audio output.

Also, HDMI-CEC is not working, although it did with the Stephans Yocto image.

And there is a blinking text marker in the screen.

After doing an update of the system I have problems booting. I seems like the kernel we use is now to old for the system. It fails to mount local file systems for me. Anyone else having problems?
