OT: USB cable length on a webcam

Sorry its OT,
I,ve now got the pogopig running Motion again, still not yet fully running again as I need to set up the mailer again.
The webcam is a Locitech HD720, does anyone know on the list what the maximum length of USB cable that I could use .
There's probably more chance of getting an answer here.

I'd like to be able to use up to 25 mtrs,

Anyone tried it ??
