Installing on an AC100

Postby IronMew » Wed May 21, 2014 4:12 pm

I'm trying to install Arch on a Toshiba AC100 following this guide, but I'm running into problems related, I assume, to the old data in the guide.

If I follow the guide downloading the latest ArchLinuxARM-trimslice filesystem from this site I get a failure to boot; reading around, it seems this is because the old kernel is unsupported.

If I download the guide's old mirrored filesystem then the install works fine, but failure strikes at the last step of "system update", with pacman complaining about conflicts and refusing to udpate anything. If I try moving to the "update kernel" step regardless, it cannot find yaourt.

The other guide points to decayed links; I tried googling for the files, but it returned no results.

I think all I need is a recent kernel compatible with the AC100 with which I could run the current trimslice filesystem, plus the modules for that kernel, but I don't know where to look for these files.

How should I proceed?
