After some more digging, it looks like gripped also put up some prebuilt packages in a repository you can add to pacman. Link/instructions in this post: http://forum.odroid.com/viewtopic.php?f=79&t=4511. If you've been spending all this time compiling the kernel, sorry I didn't notice them earlier.
