Multicast support in ARMv7 kernel

Postby krisko » Sat Jun 07, 2014 10:49 am

Hi,
I've used armv6 kernel with multicast routing with igmpproxy.
Now I have odroid u3 (armv7 kernel) and I'm getting error during igmpproxy startup:
MRT_INIT failed; Errno(92): Protocol not available

Does anyone here have knowledge of how the armv7 kernel is build? Does it have build-in multicast support:
CONFIG_IP_MROUTE=y
CONFIG_IP_PIMSM_V1=y
CONFIG_IP_PIMSM_V2=y

thank you.

thanks for the quick answer...

Indeed they are there, but not for odroid kernel...
https://github.com/archlinuxarm/PKGBUILDs/blob/master/core/linux-odroid/config_u2

I'll contact package maintainers if they can include these option in the future builds if possible.
