I think you missed something in moonmans post.
He has compiled the packages you wanted, use that version of ioncube with it.
You asked about memory, look at wiki for swap

I read a post that told me to forget what I was doing, the compile just kept producing errors. first one, that he solved, then he suspected there would be more. was the post recent?

sometimes my post are a little lengthy (lol) and could have posted something while I was writing...
I'll look back and see what he wrote.

Thanks for the heads up.

Yes, I see his post, thanks
link to site that has tar.gz files for each of the required elements for php.

I'm pretty sure I need to download them and install them, but I'm going to need to do some reading as to how to accomplish the latter.

I am not familiar with installing software other than Centos yum command
I'm guessing pacman is similar but may not be.
Also, yum, like pacman works from repositories. Ive never installed something with yum that was already on the machine, at least not often enough to remember.

I know its downloaded first, because it says its getting it.

So, off to reading I go.

I'll post something if I am successful
or something anyway in a week.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'p')acman -U filename filename filename

this doesnt seem right
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'pacman -U php53-5.3.28-2-arm.pkg.tar.xz php53-apache-5.3.28-2-arm.pkg.tar.xz php53-cgi-5.3.28-2-arm.pkg.tar.xz ...')
I think I have to tar them all first, then pacman.

pacman -S xz
Maybe your system is broke? Don't untar pkg files unless you are only examining, or desperate.

I think something broke while I uploaded the files, don't know... 1 device installed the file fine, the other did not, maybe it's mediafire that messes with it. Anyway I reuploaded to dropbox in one archive.
