Invalid goarch "arm"

Postby hachel » Thu Sep 11, 2014 6:54 pm

Hi there,

I'm trying to install syncthing from the aur, it fails with the above message, saying it should be armv5,v7...

I know I have a armv5-device, is there a away for go to use that for compiling? I'm not directly compiling via go but via a PKGBUILD.
Also, even without go, packages sometimes complain they don't support arm and it should be armv5 or something similar.
How can I change my arch without recompiling the kernel?

Thanks
hachel

Even re-compiling the kernel won't fix stupid. (not meaning you)

See the packages we have that use Go, such as docker. Also, arm is correct for our CARCH on armv5te hardware.
