linux-armv7 kernel: iptables "security table doesnt exist"

Postby Yenal » Fri Nov 07, 2014 7:11 am

Hi,

I'm using the "linux-armv7" kernel together with "linux-firmware" and "linux-armv7-headers" (core/armv7) for my wandboard-quad (the wb-kernel had issues with rebooting and I dont need the vpu/hw-decoding stuff yet). But it seems this kernel is missing something or so, because when I try to:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'iptables -t security -F
iptables -t security -X')

I get the error:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'can't initialize iptables table `security': Table does not exist (do you need to insmod?)
Perhaps iptables or your kernel needs to be upgraded.')

any way to fix that ?

ps: iptables is 1.4.21-1 (armv7) and the rest seems to work normally (adding rules, filtering and co)

I am having trouble identifying which bit is missing.

Hey,

this problem is fixed for "linux-armv7" now, but the same problem seems to exist also for "linux-wandboard" package.

BTW: What did you change in the configs?
