Using Arch Linux ARM install to build a 72 TB iRODS data grid. With a limited budget of less than $5000, it wasn't possible to go the traditional route. Currently have 5 Pogoplugs (v2) and 12 2TB external drives. The main iRODS server is a VM running on a NAS storage array. Have iRODS running on Arch Linux ARM install and communicating with the main server as a iRODS resource. The plan is to have 8 pogos, each with 8 TB of storage to give 64 TB. It has been a lot of fun getting everything running. Still have some problems to work out, but have the basics working. Wanted to introduce myself asking a whole bunch of questions
