QtCreator fails to start after update to Qt5.4.1

Hello,

after some trouble with QtCreator on my pi2 (http://archlinuxarm.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=8505) I was happy that all problems were solved. In the meantime, the new QtCreator 3.3.1 package is officially available in the arch arm repo, so it is no longer necessary to build QtCreator on your own. Everything has worked with Qt5.4.0

Today, the update to Qt5.4.1 was installed due to a pacman -Syu and now QtCreator fails to start with this output:

Has anyone an idea? What's wrong with Qt5.4.1 or is just a rebuild of QtCreator necessary?

I've recompiled QtCreator with the PKGBUILD from here https://github.com/archlinuxarm/PKGBUILDs/tree/master/extra/qtcreator but QtCreator still crashes on startup.

I've downgraded the Qt packages to Qt5.4.0 and set them on the IgnorePkg list in /etc/pacman.conf. Now, QtCreator starts without problems again, the console output is just this:

The OpenGL ES 3.0 warning isn't there, maybe this is the problem with Qt5.4.1. As far as I know, raspberry's GPU is only OpenGL ES2.0 capable.

On my x86_64 ARCH Linux machine with nvidia GPU QtCreator runs fine with Qt5.4.1.

How do you downgrade to Qt 5.4.0. I installed first Qt 5.4.1 so I do not have Qt 5.4.0 package in /var/cahce. How can I install Qt 5.4.0 ?

Now, QtCreator 3.3.2 is available in the arch repo. Unfortunately, the problem still exists. QtCreator crashes on startup with Qt5.4.1, but runs fine with Qt5.4.0

The problem can partly be solved: QtCreator 3.3.x starts without problems with Qt5.4.1 when the "Welcome"-plugin is disabled. I've also posted the issue http://forum.qt.io/topic/51982/qtcreator-3-3-x-crashes-during-start-up-on-raspberry-pi2-with-qt5-4-1. Thanks to SGaist for the hint.

I've created a bug report here https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-45124. It's a Qt5.4.1 bug. Priority is set to P2 (Important).
