Boot Zyxel NSA-325 from a USB stick?

Postby jeajea » Fri May 22, 2015 12:46 pm

Is it possible to boot and run Arch from a USB stick for NSA-325?
I believe at one time there was a watch dog timer problem but maybe that has been resolved

We have likely solved part of that, but I you won't be able to use the USB3 port at this time, afaik. You will also have to forgo having the ability to go back to stock.

You don't be able to use it for booting. The port works once the PCI-e controller is online in linux.

Boot USB 2 is fine for my needs.
Are there instructions for setting it up?
Also does the same apply to the NSA310?

It will essentially be the same across the entire family, yes.
