I don't think this is a storage problem, or an ARM problem. I think this is related to constraints within the programs, that just happened to be exposed in these resource "starved" environments.

Please contact that program developers/community for detailed help and diagnosis.

I think I caught the root cause: Kodi. I stopped it and since then downloading works perfectly (fingers crossed for staying like this). What is interesting that Kodi without torrent, or torrent without Kodi runs without problems. Do you think if arch may be responsible for not handling them in parallel properly?

I move forward on Kodi and will post here too if I find the resolution.
