Jetson-TK1: How to install CUDA

Postby arcangeli » Sat Aug 15, 2015 11:26 am

Hi,

I've installed Arch on my jetson-tk1. Cool.
All CUDA and opencv package are in deb format. Is there something to do for converting this to arch pkg or do i install cuda manually (unarchiving all the deb with ar)?

Is there some work on this topic?

https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/deb2targz/

That can convert the deb to a tar.gz, that you can then wrap a PKGBUILD around.

Perhaps modify some things based on the upstream Arch cuda package.

Thanks.
For now, i've installed all nvidia driver, cuda and opencv manually.
I've made a kodi PKGBUILD for accelerated hardware version that i'll release soon.
And maybe a PKGBUILD for The Grinch kernel if it's not too hard.
deb2targz is not better than ar ;)

Really nice to see Arch on ARM.
