[SOLVED] BBB Cannot boot Arch Linux from SD card.

Postby mariusmmg2 » Fri May 20, 2016 1:01 pm

Hi,

I have a BBB rev.C with Debian Image (2015-03-01), (3.8.13-bone70 Kernel version).

I have make an SD card with Arch Linux image on it (using this *[0] tutorial), but the board won't boot from SD

When I hold the S2 button while powering the board (USB or 5V power supply), only the power LED is lighting, all others are dead. (I also tried to hold the S3 button, same result).

After some research on google, I have found that it my be some U-Boot bootloader problem (?) May the bootloader be old and it doesn't support to boot from SD card? If so, how can I update it to the latest version? (or some version from which I can boot Arch).

Any other advice?

Solved by re-downloading the image again, I think it was corrupted.
