Pi 2 Segfault

Postby aral » Thu Jun 09, 2016 12:46 am

Hey guys I'm a bit stuck here, I updated my system back on the 4th of June, and since then certain programs are having problems running I'm getting segfault right away. My google-fu is failing me, I have found posts about microcode for the cpu but I'm not sure that applies to the rpi?

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '$sudo pacman --debug
Segmentation fault
')

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '$nano

You don't need extra microcode for the cpu, everything is included in the firmware package.

At first i would prepare a fresh system on another sdcard to see how it works.
Be sure to have a good power supply and no special hardware extensions should be connected for this test.
If the fresh system doesn't work then either you have a 'bad' sdcard or bad contacts in the card slot or the RPi has really got 'a shot' - let's hope the best. ;)
